Following a strategic business review, Intasure’s provider, Arthur J Gallagher has decided that they will no longer be providing insurance to clients domiciled in the European Economic Area (EEA) Existing contracts will expire individually at the end of their respective terms as stated in the insurance policy. You do not need to cancel your contract with Intasure yourself.

The Funk EXPERTS Holiday Home Protect product is offered by Th. Funk & Sohn GmbH in cooperation with Liberty Specialty Markets Europe S.à.r.l. German branch, which is acting as the risk carrier.

When developing Holiday Home Protect, we ensure that the premium level for our existing customers remains as stable as possible. We also aim to provide our customers with tailor-made insurance cover. With Holiday Home Protect, we no longer ask about the number of bedrooms; instead, we calculate the premium based on your property’s living space. This may affect the cost of your insurance.

As a long-standing customer, you will receive a 10 % loyalty bonus on the premium. This will be included in the offer we are sending to you.

We are revising and modernising the terms and conditions to offer you an optimised product. As an existing customer, you will receive a grandfather clause for your building and contents insurance. This means that you will retain your will retain your current level of cover.

Approximately 90 days before your current contract with Intasure expires, they will contact you to inform you about the transfer of your data to us. Around one month before the expiry date, you will receive an email offering you our Funk EXPERTS Holiday Home Protect product. You can then easily accept this offer online. We will ensure a seamless transition of your insurance cover.

Claims arising during the term of your Intasure contract will continue to be handled by Intasure or your previous contact persons. For new claims arising during the term of your Holiday Home Protect contract, Funk EXPERTS will be your point of contact.

No. When you take out a new policy, you can specify your preferred payment method: SEPA direct debit or credit card. For data protection reasons, your previous payment details will not be passed on to us.
